Our Story
"The Heart Behind the Coffee."
Ethiopia, known as the birthplace of coffee, has gifted the world with the rich taste of Arabica coffee. Haro Coffee is rooted in a family legacy that demonstrates a deep love and extensive knowledge of coffee, built over 40 years of experience in coffee processing and roasting.
Founded by Mr. Nardos Mamuye and his family in May 2008, Haro Coffee specializes in planting, roasting, grinding, and distributing export-standard coffee varieties, including Yirgacheffe, Jimma, Sidama, Harar, Wollega, and Limu Genet, for both domestic and international consumers.
Our track record speaks volumes about the quality we uphold. The name “Haro” comes from a small town in the Western Oromia region of the Jimma Zone, recognized for its natural ability to cultivate exceptional coffee.
From Farm to Cup
What sets Haro Coffee apart is our commitment to managing every step of the coffee production process internally. The coffee beans are carefully harvested from our farm in Jimma, Oromia, Ethiopia—where coffee was first discovered. After being collected, the beans undergo meticulous in-house processing by experienced professionals, which includes washing, roasting, and grinding to perfection for coffee lovers worldwide.
We take pride in creating job opportunities for over 250 Ethiopian individuals who manage the entire coffee process from start to finish.
At Haro Coffee, we are dedicated to quality control, ensuring that our final product meets international standards as we strive to become the leading coffee roastery in the world.
